Step 1: Download the Bunny with Street Names Hanging Sign Free SVG Cut File

Download the SVG file in my free Resource Library HERE. You can get the password for my library by filling out the newsletter form at the bottom of this post.

Save the downloaded zipped folder on your computer. Pay attention to where on your computer the folder downloads and then unzip the folder to extract the contents. The folder and files must be unzipped (extracted) before you can upload the SVG file into your cutting software.

Step 2: Upload the Bunny with Street Names Hanging Sign Free SVG Cut File

Upload the SVG file into Cricut Design Space. The SVG file will upload grouped together. You do not need to resize or ungroup this design. It is prepared to cut. However, if you wish to resize the design to make it larger or smaller, you may do so by grabbing the handle bars at the corner of the bounding box and moving inward or outward. Please Note: If you decide to make the design larger, will need to use larger card stock. If you decide to make the design smaller, you may need to use the Card Stock for Intricate Cut Setting. Then click Make in the upper right corner.

Step 3: Check Mat Preview

Once you have selected Make, a new window will open with your mat preview screen. On this screen you will see that the software has prepared twenty-five (25) mats for the cut. Using your scroll bar to the left, take note of each layer and prepare your card stock in the order of the layers the software provided.

If you can, rearrange the elements on the mats to reduce the final number of mats. For example, you should see two dark gray mats. One mat has the back of the bunny with the eye brow elements. The second mat has the joined mouth and nose. You can move the joined mouth and nose to the mat with the bunny and eye brow elements to reduce the final mat count by one (1).

Then after you have noted the layers, ensure that your first mat is selected. If the first mat is not selected the cut order will not match the order of your card stock.

When you are ready to begin your cut, select the Continue button in the lower right corner.

Step 4: Card Stock Settings, Load Mat and Cut Materials

After selecting Continue, your next screen will have your material selection menu. For this project, I will use the Medium Card Stock 80lb Cut Setting. Check again the order of the mats, arrangement of the elements, that Basic Cut is the operation that will be completed and ensure that your card stock order matches the software order. Use your brayer to secure your card stock to your mat. Once you are ready to cut, load your mat into your machine and begin your cut.
