Step-by-Step Written Instructions

First, I got my 3D wood cut out of Happy Easter and used my Waverly Yellow Chalk Paint to paint the sign yellow.

Then I took my scrapbook paper and traced the egg shape on the back of the paper. Once the trace was completed I cut the shape out with my scissors. I then used Mod Podge and a foam brush to paint the entire top of my egg with Mod Podge. I placed my scrapbook paper on top of the now glue covered egg, taking time to press the paper from the center to the edge thus sealing it.

Once that was completed I used my sanding block to sand away any excess paper. This created a bit of dust.

I used my Waverly Antique Wax around the edge to give that rustic, vintage look.

I cut a strip of lace ribbon across the top. Glued the ribbon and my 3D wood cut out to the egg using regular, clear glue.

Then I cut my Daisy Flower Petal Pattern (Find it Design #217 in my Resource Library) on my Cricut machine. Used a pencil to curl the edges. Stacked and glued the two layers on top of each other using my Art Glitter Glue. Added my sunflower button to the center with Hot Glue. Then Hot Glued the entire flower to the center of my lace ribbon to complete the craft.

I think it turned out sooooo cute! I absolutely love it. And with different pieces of scrapbook paper you can make yours to fit your style and personality too! I hope you enjoyed following along with this DIY Dollar Tree Vintage Style Easter Egg and you are able to find some too!
