DIY Football Goal Post Decor Free SVG

Football is a HUGE sport in my house. I personally enjoy watching the game but my son has become a true die hard fan. Which is the inspiration for this amazing DIY Football Goal Post Decor Free SVG Cut File. You can not only use this project for football birthday parties, regular season football get togethers or even for the big Super Bowl party. What is also great about this project is that we can use our Cricut, Silhouette or other cutting machines and our favorite card stock to create it. This project does require a few steps but you will receive tons of compliments about it! Scroll before for instructions on how to cut and create this awesome football craft. Happy Crafting!

-Materials List

  • I am using my Cricut Explore. You could use your Cricut Maker or another similar cutting machine.
  • Light Grip Cutting Mat
  • Glue. I am using Art Glitter Glue
  • Brayer
  • Hot Glue Gun with Hot Glue Sticks
  • Two (2) 12in x 12in sheet of Yellow Cardstock (goal post crossbar and sides)
  • Two (2) 12in x 12in sheet of Green Cardstock (box outer layer, post, flaps of post, banner)
  • Two (2) 12in x 12in sheet of White Cardstock (box inner layer, banner)

Download the SVG file in my free Resource Library HERE. You can get the password for my library by filling out the newsletter form at the bottom of this post.

Save the downloaded zipped folder on your computer. Pay attention to where on your computer the folder downloads and then unzip the folder to extract the contents. The folder and files must be unzipped (extracted) before you can upload the SVG file into your cutting software.

Cricut Design Space Tutorial for the DIY Football Goal Post Free SVG Cut File

This design will require several different steps for cutting an arranging some of the elements. I’m going to show you a step-by step tutorial video of how to prepare the file inside the Design Space software so that you can have a quick, easy, and smooth cut using few mats. At this time, I can only provide a tutorial using the Design Space software, but the steps are basically the same in Silhouette Studio.
